Volunteers from Ozanam Center for Service-Lerning at St. Vincent de Paul

On 6/4/18 Mr. Jack Delisio from the Ozanam Center for Service-Lerning at St. Vincent de Paul in Cincinnati brought in 8 students and 4 adults to Open Door to help for the day.  The program hosts groups of high school students on retreat over the summer to learn more about service, community, faith, and social justice.  All students and adults worked very hard to help us clean our kitchen floor, hand out food in the café, pack food in the pantry, and see how the Payee Program is handled.

The group was a delight.  As a special treat we gave them a tour of the stained glass in the sanctuary of Church of the Advent. (You can read more about these windows here.)
